The trip to the Pacific was much enjoyed and much needed. 4 days, 3 nights of relaxation. Spent a shockingly low amount of money - about $150 - considering the damage I could have done.
We were having breakfast overlooking one of the many bays that grace the Oregon coast when my phone started to ring. It turned out it was one of the girls from the Coach store in Lincoln City, saying that she had a fuschia hobo on hand that I had wanted months and months ago. I completely forgot that I had given them my phone number. It seemed to me that God above wanted me to have that bag, because I just happened to be in town when they called. She said she'd hold it for me. And how beautiful it is! She gave it to me for 50% off due to a small pen mark that really is not noticeable. Anyway I've gotten tons of compliments on it and that makes me especially proud.
Downside to the trip definitely has to be the complete breakdown of my Canon Powershot S400. That baby was a beautiful piece of technology, and it jut stopped working. I don't quite understand it myself, but whatever. Time to get a new camera, just in time for Jeannine's First Holy Communion. Whoopie! I'm planning on getting another Powershot (they are seriously the best cameras around, I just happened to screw up mine).
Pictures will come soon...I promise! I haven't slept in my own bed in a lonnggg time, so I'm going to go curl up and crash. Yes!
