I'm a prize idiot sometimes.
It's 85 degrees outside. No clouds in view for miles. I stood at the top of the hill and the coastal range is clear as crystal. Absolutely stunning day, aside from the wind. It's a warm breeze though, so that's nice.
Anyway.
Sparky is incredibly dirty. I decided that an hour and a half of scrubbing my beautiful car out in the hot sun would be comparable to a typical session at the gym. Basically, if I washed the precious, I wouldn't have to work out later today. ;)
I pulled out the hose, filled up some buckets with water and soap, grabbed some rags and stepped outside. Isabella looked bored so I let her out into the backyard to romp around.
It was a pleasant chore. The crisp water felt good against my skin, and I was developing a tan. I tugged on the hose to get a little more slack, and the whole thing came ripping out of the side of the house.
Bad move, Mary.
My dad had always instructed us to go and unwind the hose, as it is a piece of crap and would easily break. Laziness and stupidity overwhelmed me and I just yanked on it. Boom. Water shooting everywhere, my car only partially cleaned, and the hose irreparably damaged.
I give up.
In other news, the Kelly Clarkson/Graham Colton Band concert is tommorow night. Excitement? Yes. Who gets to meet the band? This girl right here! Pictures to come...
