So I show up at the Schnitz last night unexpectedly early. This made me excessively happy, as being late was a very real concern for me. I expected to see a mass crowd of scantily dressed 13 year olds and the unfortunate parents that had to be brought along. Instead, there was a line of senior citizens, fanning themselves with brochures and buzzing excitedly like a hoard of bees.

This can't be right...

I went up to one of the people standing in line and nervously asked, 'Is this the line for the Kelly Clarkson/Graham Colton Band concert?'. The lady looked at me, astonished, and said, 'No, this is for the symphony.'

CRAP.

She kindly pointed me towards a calendar of events, and low and behold, Kelly Clarkson performs May 28, not May 27. I called Deanne straight away, and informed her of the mistake. She laughed as I told her of my encounters with the elder citizens of Portland. I made sure that the plans were still on for the concert, wrong day enough as it is. She said that everything should be fine - the details are still the same and so on. So tonight I head out to the concert. Hopefully I will look a little better and it won't be so obnoxiously hot.

In other news, I got a new digital camera. Canon Powershot SD300. Mmmmmm pure photographing beauty. Tiny, but has a huge LCD screen and the pictures are marvelous. I need a larger memory card. My S400 used Compact Flash and this uses a Memory Stick. Dang. Anyway, all should work out in the end. "Should" being the operative word.

Jeannine's First Communion tommorow!
