I can't fully comprehend some things in life. I don't really attempt to try in a lot of instances.
There was a 7.0 earthquake about 80 miles off the coast of Coos Bay the other day. Didn't trigger a tsunami, but creepy nonetheless. Anne was down at the beach with her cousins (very cool people, btw) and apparently the tsunami warning sirens went off. I'd probably shit my pants, personally, but nothing happened. Yay for living in the ring of fire!
In other news, we've had several successful parties this past week. Here are some pictures from the Beach Trip and then The Slumber Party Lacking in Slumber. Enjoy!

Beautiful.
The infamous flag, flown several times on the journey down.
Plotting something.

Marge (the 300 pound trailer-inhabiting chain smoker who seems to possess Hayley at any given time) was also present.
Children of the Corn had a strange effect on me.
Roasting marshmellows over tea candles and Milkduds. Only the healthiest food was consumed at our gathering.
